Wow.  587 Deviations.

It's so hard to keep up with all the creation happenin' around here...

It's very strange to me the extent I've replaced actual activities with staring at a screen. I've replaced creating physical things in a real universe for strolling through ideas and images that essentially don't exist in my reality. There's no way for me to know that anything on the internet exists in real life unless I've perceived it in my reality in the past.

So why have I replaced interacting with my physical reality, which holds human interaction and creating physical beauty to interacting with a machine that doesn't react to me unless I tell it to, that only connects with a virtual universe that has little bearing on what happens in my life.

I suppose it's a habit I developed long ago.

Guess it's about time I tried to break it.

I'm submitting art! No fucking way!

Ok, admittedly the majority of it is two years old, but I just got back into the habit of frequenting deviant art and realized how much art I have hanging in my basement that I never uploaded. My apologies for the crappy pictures, I'm using a digital camera since I don't have a scanner(and a lot of it is too big anyway), my hands are kind of shakey and the lighting down here sucks so I'm often taking pictures at an angle to minimize glare from the flash. I did adjust the levels a bit in an effort to get the colors to match the originals as close as i could.

Feel free to use anything you find interesting in any way. (Heh. Like that'll happen. ) Just, ya' know, let me see the outcome.

Why is it so hard to express the things I think in words?  Why do I have to use words to express my thoughts, I don't think in words.  It seems I think much faster than I can speak so I end up jumping from one subject to another without the necessary transition required to be understood.

Consider the possibility that our cells are conscious of themselves but not a higher organism.  And consider that every human being, like every living thing, is a single cell, conscious of itself, in a much larger organism.  Perhaps it is conceivable that there is a self aware consciousness consisting of all living things.  Perhaps it's the earth.  And from there I slip into Gaia theory.
